Description
The XPedite8000 is a Processor PCI Mezzanine Card (PrPMC) single-board computer designed to provide maximum performance and I/O options while minimizing power consumption. With two cores running at up to 2.0 GHz each, the P.A. Semi PWRficient PA6T-1682 processor delivers optimum performance-per-watt.
The P.A. Semi PWRficient PA6T-1682 integrated platform processor combines dual PA6T Power Architecture cores with high-performance communication to two DDR2 SDRAM channels, three Gigabit Ethernet ports, and a PCI Express interface. The XPedite8000 supports two separate channels of up to 2 GB each of DDR2-400 ECC SDRAM, as well as up to 3 MB of NOR Flash and 4 GB of NAND Flash.
The XPedite8000 provides an efficient, high-performance, feature-rich solution to support the next generation of embedded applications. Operating system support packages are available for VxWorks, QNX Neutrino, and Linux 2.6.
