The XPedite7032 is a 3U conduction or air-cooled CompactPCI single board computer with two
isolated Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. The XPedite7032 utilizes the Low
Voltage Intel Pentium M processor which provides optimum power conservation
while operating at up to 1.4 GHz, giving this module a decisive
processing advantage. The XPedite7032 also utilizes the Intel 3100
chipset which was specifically designed for embedded applications, combining integrated
server-class memory controller (Northbridge) and I/O controller (Southbridge) functionality into a
single device. The XPedite7032 is an ideal ruggedized solution for high-bandwidth
processing requirements with limited power consumption.
The XPedite7032 supports up to 2 GB of 400-MHz DDR2 ECC SDRAM and up to 4 GB
of NAND Flash to provide ample on-card storage. Up to 5 MB of Firmware Hub (FWH) capacity is also
supported for redundant BIOS or OS kernel storage. The XPedite7032 can be used as a CompactPCI
system controller or in a peripheral slot. To the system designer, the XPedite7032 provides
a feature-rich solution to support the next generation of embedded applications.
