Description
The XCalibur1430 is a high performance 6U VME64x single board computer that is ideal for ruggedized systems requiring high bandwidth processing and low power consumption. With two P.A. Semi PA6T cores running at up to 2.0 GHz while dissipating less than 17 Watts, the PA6T-1682 delivers optimum performance per watt. The P.A. Semi PA6T-1682 PWRficient integrated platform processor combines dual PA6T cores, and high performance communication to two DDR2 SDRAM channels and a plethora of network interfaces.

The XCalibur1430 supports two separate channels of up to 1 GB each of 400-MHz DDR2 ECC SDRAM, as well as up to 128 MB NOR Flash. The XCalibur1430 also supports dual Gigabit Ethernet, I2C, PMC I/O, XMC I/O, and RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 serial ports out the P2/P0 connectors.

To the system designer, the XCalibur1430 provides a feature rich solution to support the next generation of rugged embedded applications. Both a VxWorks Board Support Package (BSP) and a Linux 2.6 LSP are available.
